Chianti Classico

“I try to create elegant wines where subtlety prevails over the excess of structure, wines that are capable of indirectly seducing, like a landscape, an encounter between two people who use every linguistic nuance; wines that are inviting to good food and good company.
In Chianti, our palette is limited to few colours where Sangiovese is obviously predominant.
We add a small percentage of Colorino and Canaiolo grapes to our Chianti Classico Le Corti while Sangiovese grapes are integrated with 15% Merlot grapes in our renowned Don Tommaso. In both cases, it is a matter of combining different grape varieties in response to what is, in my opinion, the best Chianti Classico tradition.”
